I'm back!I'm back from my trip to Sweden and I got to say I really enjoyed myself when it comes to photography
. I got at least 5 shots that i'm pretty proud of. I'll show them to you the coming days.The coming weeks my presents here will be little because I'm switching ISPs. That means that at the moment I do not have DSL at home and it takes 2 to 6 weeks before I am connected again. Yes...I know that is a long time, but somehow the phone company cant get it done any sooner
.Anyway, I'll try to get in DA as much as possible when I'm at work, like while I'm on lunch or so.

After that year passed and I came to spring of my first month, I had a few people watching me and once in a while a comment on one of my deviations. I thought I was doing pretty well considering I was semi new to photography and didnt have too many good pictures up. As the year progressed, I started uploading some pictures that I worked hard on to compose and get to the right spot at the right time. I thought "Hey, maybe as I get better at photography more people will start looking at my stuff!" I continued to upload pictures and got 1-2 comments on almost everything I uploaded. More people started watching me and I started getting many more pageviews. I still wasnt getting any comments but I was sure that would change: I had an amazing tripd coming up to the oregon and washington coast and forests there as well.
Away I went on my trip with high hopes and lots of film. I came back with many good slides and started scanning like crazy. I got up quite a few of my favorite pictures, comparable to people like zerocomplex and x-horizon's work. I thought "oh man! I bet I will be that popular in no time"

To kill some time while I was scanning a few more I went and looked around at other people pictures. Then I saw a deviant named isacg.
I had a look at his stuff. It seemed like there were a few cool looking photographs. Then I came across this one:

It is ovbiously fake. I took a closer look at some more pictures in his gallery.

Many many comments on each one of them. This basically made me not want to be a part of this community anymore. People like me never get noticed. People without skill get pushed to the top by others too blind to see the unrealism of their work.
